Shotguns

Due to the destructive and expansive nature of the projectiles of the shotgun, we are allowing them on a limited ‘Trial Basis’ to explore the viability of full usage on our ranges.

Guidelines for shotgun use are as follows:

• Shotguns are allowed on Tuesdays and Thursdays ONLY.  They will be allowed during all operating hours of those two days.
• All shotguns fired on our range MUST be fired sighted from the shoulder.  NO firing from the hip, and NO PISTOL GRIP ONLY shotguns.  Folding stock, collapsing stock, and pistol-grip full stocks are welcome as long as they are fired from the shouldered, extended position.
• Only slugs or buckshot ammunition is allowed.  Ammo will be marked as #4 BUCK, #1 BUCK, 00 BUCK, etc.  #4 shot is NOT the same as #4 BUCK!  The smaller pellets and wider spread of the other loads are not permissible on our ranges.
• Shotgun pricing is the same as Rifle range admission on the previous page.
