Range Info

Please click the tabs at left for Range and Rental prices for the discipline you have an interest in.

Our facility is divided up into 3 separate ranges.  We have 2 pistol ranges totaling 11 lanes, and 6 additional high-power rifle ranges added November 2010.

Pistol ranges are 50-ft long, and the rifle range is 20-yards.  All lanes have electric target carrier systems that you can set for any distance beyond our 20’ minimum.  All lanes have independent light switches to control the amount of light in your stall. Our negative pressure ventilation system ensures you are breathing 100% fresh intake air.  Comfort fans are added for those warmer summer days.

In order to use the ranges, you will fill out a form at check-in that we use to tally your expenditures.  We need a government issued photo ID, which we hold on to while you are on the range.  You pay at check-out when you are done with your visit.  This simplifies the process and prevents you from having to nickel-and-dime your way through the day if you want another target or box of ammo.

 Age Restrictions and Minors.

You must be 18 to use the range alone, and 21 in order to rent handguns or buy ammunition for handguns.  Any minor (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent or legally appointed guardian, or to have said parent/guardian complete the Minor Release Form naming the adult party over 21 with whom the minor is visiting.  Grandparents, siblings, and other adult family members are NOT permitted to sign this form unless they have been granted custody of the minor by legal decree.  Minors are charged regular range rates for participation and must be under adult supervision AT ALL TIMES.  We cannot give 2 lanes to a minor/adult pair. For safety reasons, any minor under age 12 will be admitted onto the range ONLY at the approval of range staff to ensure that they are of proper height, can physically handle a firearm safely, and have properly fitting protective equipment.

Out of town visitors and tourists:

We welcome our guests from out of town and encourage you to visit.  There are some special considerations for non-citizens that you should be aware of before your visit.

Title 18, United States Code, Sec. 922(g)(5)(B) makes it unlawful for any nonimmigrant alien in the United States to “ship, transport, receive, or possess firearms or ammunition”.  Further, section 922(d)(5)(B) makes it unlawful “for any person to sell or otherwise dispose of any firearm or ammunition to any person knowing or having reasonable cause to believe that such person is an alien”.  Penalties are imprisonment up to 5 or 10 years per count.  Neither of us wants to spend time in Federal prison, I’m sure.

Sec 922(y)(2) grants an exception if the alien is “in possession of a hunting license or permit lawfully issued in the United States”.  We have the ability here to process a license to be in lawful compliance immediately and for a nominal fee (less than $10).  We need an ID such as a passport or driver’s license in order to process this license.  This license should be good for the duration of your visit and good in any part of the country unless otherwise prohibited (check the local laws wherever you are going). You may process this license ahead of time by visiting the website here, and select the Apprentice Hunting License option.
